Before I moved into my apartment, but after I knew that some extra storage space would be helpful, I found this kitchen hutch that someone was giving away and decided to put it to good use (with the help of my parents, of course)
My old camera broke, but I was able to remove the images and now have some before and after shots! I replaced the handles, as well as the entire backing and am very pleased with the outcome!
I went with a pale green and deep red color combo. The marble handles were an Anthropologie purchase. I covered the door panels with paisley pattern Target cloth napkins, cut to size and held in place with an acrylic medium.
I love the final product and it houses some of my very favorite dishes, including paisley coffee mugs that happen to match the doors! The top drawer has turned out to be a wonderful home for my spices.

Why thirty duo?
I did a lot of dreaming and wondering driving to and from my beloved alma mater, Ohio University, on Route 32. I wanted to pay tribute to the town I lived for four years, the friends who made it home and the opportunites that helped me grow and dream. How's that for sappy?
