Due to this too-cold-for-April weather, I thought you all might like a springtime pick me up. I spotted these DIY sock planters on Every Day with Rachael Ray.

How adorable! They would make awesome decorations that could double as favors at a bridal or baby shower. You could do all one color scheme with all different patterns or all argyle or stripped socks in various colors. For example, this sock in four color schemes:
