Baby Shower

A couple of weeks ago one of my friends hosted a baby shower for another of our friends. I helped her out with the games and decorating.

I made this arch streamer out of Waste Not Paper's circles, printed the "K" and used a circle punch. I mounted the "K" circles to the larger ones and used an Xacto knife to cut slits in the top of the circle to weave ribbon through.

We created a baby version of the game Loaded Questions. The guest of honor had the question sheet, with questions such as "What percent of the time will the car seat be in my car versus my husbands?" and "What toy will the baby never have." Each guest had an answer sheet, where we guessed what her answer would be and whoever had the most correct was dubbed the winner.

We also played "guess the baby food." I made these labels, which each had the number of the baby food printed in pink. To add some humor, I added the menu descriptions from Hugo, a delicious high-end restaurant nearby, on every other line. While the "
SHRIMP N' GRITS: GRITS, WHITE CHEDDAR, TASSO HAM, HERBS, DEMI" was delectable, it was definitely not in the baby food jar.

We also had plenty of delicious Sunday afternoon drinks.
