You guys, I totally received the most exciting package today. (and much earlier than I expected.) My order from Silly Buddy. Wheee!

I LOVED the handwritten note and beautiful packaging. Almost as much as I loved this:

I bought Duncan's bowtie for his upcoming photoshoot our engagement pictures. I'm sure our lovely photog will get much better shots of the Roo. My other favorite fabric choices were:

decisions, decisions

I hope everyone had a great week! I had a busy week and am feeling a little under the weather. We're getting ready and super excited to go to our friends' wedding in Hilton Head next weekend. Oh, speaking of weddings :) I also spent the evening hemming and hawing (what does that even mean??) over our save the date design. We still have a few months before we send them out, but I placed an initial paper order tonight!

recently...

1. I ate Skyline and loved it. The restaurant is right next door to where I work out, so it was a long time coming.

2. I admired my pup before tackling the day.

3. I was in a restaurant restroom with a loverly wall.

4. I had a pedicure {with wine}

5. It ended up like this. I was feelin' funky.

6. I went to my mom's art show {and had wine}

7. We went to one of my favorite local restaurants, Enoteca Emilia. I had duck liver ravioli {with wine}

8. Finally, I had quite a relaxing weekend and haven't done much of anything, which was necessary, especially after all the above which I did last week. Chris has been putting up with a lot of wedding-ness lately and I thought I'd show some appreciation. I bought him (us) a vintage bourbon decanter, filled it with some Maker's Mark, wrote sweet nothings in this card (which Chris admitted upon first reading it that he thought it said "Downtown." Insert head shake - True fan??) aaand made these homemade pizza rolls. Through his stomach, people.. and liver. The way to a man's heart is through his liver. Might be true ;)

It is now Sunday evening at 9:10. I've had a meatloaf in the oven since 6:30. It was slightly frozen, but my gawd. We're finally eating in a few. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

my sisters gave me a ten minute

time limit when we walked into a lovely thrift shop this weekend during a sister weekend at OSU. That illustrates my life well. Loving vintage home items. Slow. And indecisive. I could have bought SO. MANY. THINGGGS.

It was awesome and about 20 minutes later I walked out with these two gems.

Lurve them and they are still searching for a comfortable place to rest in our abode. After that, we ate dinner and spent the night in bars where the restroom was "decorated" like this:

To finish off the night we crashed a college house party, ate a cheesy bread "pizza" and officially crashed for the night at 4 am. I can still hang, people. Also, there's this:

last weekend ....

1. Lots of cleaning was done. Duncan was too scared of the broom to be outside, but too concerned with his sticks to go very far.

2. Relaxing after a long Saturday of housework.

3. Ripped my favorite jeans = THE WORST.

4. Part of our errand day was spent at Target. After I finished picking out our bedding, this is how I found C.

5. Our new bedding. I posted this pic to my instagram and received this comment "You got a stupid bed." True, if stupid means awesome! (??)

6. Close up of the patterns I selected. I'm pretty pleased with the combo!

7. Duncan and I shared the "trunk" of the car on the way to the Nature Center for an Easter hike.

I might stop using titles because I suck at them

Hello everyone! I hope you've had a good week. Here is some of what's been going on with me lately. 

1. One pretty flower out of a bouquet my mom got me (they were all pretty, not just the one.)

2. Our first wedding gift! This lovely vase.

3. My fav summer beer is back. Love-hate relationship right now, as I'm trying to be healthier!

4. Writing some thank you notes from us.

5. Our engagement (beer tasting) party invites.

6. Wanting to eat firemen Learning about fire trucks.

Oh, and 7. Thinking about not using titles on my blog because I. Can't. Ever. Think. Of. Anything. Any of you bloggers have the same problem?
