We got a rug!

Things are definitely shaping up. We still have lots of table/bookcasey items to buy, but the progress feels good! Oh, and I got the second lamp, but still need a new side table where it can live.

at long last ... kitchen before and after

Finally! Before and after photos for you of our kitchen. Our contractor came a couple weeks ago and installed shelving in the closet to create a pantry. It feels complete! It was too sunny to get great photos, but I thought this would be better than what I've been giving you lately: nothing!

Still nursing it and hoping it doesn't stick around long! At least someone is very worn out from boarding. Less guilty feelings for me when I'm stuck on the couch!

change in seasons... maybe?

Although you wouldn't know it, based on the 40-something degree weather around here, but summer swimsuit season is fast approaching. Some of us are trying to get in shape. Others can't grasp the concept of pilates and that if someone is "rolling like a ball", it's best not to walk behind them and lay down. Oh, others.

There's also been a bit of this going on around here.

I'll save you the suspense. It's me! I'm the painter! Duncan is not painter, instead he is professional hole-in-carpet chewer. Anyway, loving that spring green!
