window treatments galore

Oh, hello. Do you ever feel intimidated by window treatments? You know that they really round out and complete the look of a room, but how do you know what to select? We recently purchased curtains for our dining room and I'm excited to purchase and install them in more rooms. My biggest window treatment question is how they need to flow from room to room. What do you think? Do they need to be the same type, length, fabric, color scheme if you can see multiple rooms at once? If you have some of the same questions, maybe these rooms will inspire you...

starting a new week

Hello dear readers of mine! Did you have a nice weekend? I had such a blast with my college friends. It is great to be back in Athens, for a few days at least. I'm starting off my week with a cup of coffee, making a grocery list that is desperate to be fulfilled! ... and of course, enjoying the company of my favorite furry friend. I am SO excited for this weekend. I am heading back to my alma mater, Ohio University, just as soon as possible. Some of my very best friends will be there to celebrate our friend's bachelorette. I can't wait to spend time with wonderful people in a wonderful place. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hello! How has your week been treating you? I've been a busy bee and a bad blogger at the same time! I very easily find things, not just to love, but to fall in love with and be inspired by in each photograph. Really, hello dusty teal chairs, crystal chandelier and oversized white floor mirror. I could go on about each one, but I'll let you decide what your favorite bits are. And, if you say the antique bench at the foot of the bed, I won't argue. Happy day to you!

new bedroom furniture

Hello all! Did you have an enjoyable weekend? Mine was wonderful and went by very quickly, as usual. We ordered a new bed this weekend, and I can't wait for it to arrive. I'm going to go linen shopping to complete the look of our new bedding. It is also a bit larger than the bed we have now, so I might be in the market for some new nightstands. Any suggestions? happy mother's day weekend!

Hello! I would like to wish everyone a wonderful weekend and a fantastic Mother's Day! We will be going out to brunch on Saturday for Mother's Day and my dad is going to help me finish up my vegetable garden. Our good friends are also coming into town and bringing Duncan's brother.
