I found this wonderful coffee table book, Other People's Love Letters: 150 Letters You Were Never Meant to See, a while back at Papyrus. I haven't been able to find it on their web site, however it is on Amazon.
It is graphic, art-oriented and so incredibly unique. It is very intriguing to get a glimpse at other people's relationships. I got completely sucked in as soon as I saw it at the store.

I absolutely recommend buying this as a gift, even if the recipient is not the lovey-dovey type. The letters are definitely not all swoon-worthy (as evidenced below!) but all represent an aspect of love, which is great. Divorce letters, instant messages, lenthy hand-written professions of love and emails among the included.
How wonderful is this? (not pictured) "And I shall Love You until I draw my last breath, and beyond?" Yes, please!
One of my favorite parts is the postscript, which includes the stories behind some of the love letters. Love, love, love this book - definitely one of my favorite things.
A couple of weeks ago one of my friends hosted a baby shower for another of our friends. I helped her out with the games and decorating.

I made this arch streamer out of Waste Not Paper's circles, printed the "K" and used a circle punch. I mounted the "K" circles to the larger ones and used an Xacto knife to cut slits in the top of the circle to weave ribbon through.

We created a baby version of the game Loaded Questions. The guest of honor had the question sheet, with questions such as "What percent of the time will the car seat be in my car versus my husbands?" and "What toy will the baby never have." Each guest had an answer sheet, where we guessed what her answer would be and whoever had the most correct was dubbed the winner.

We also played "guess the baby food." I made these labels, which each had the number of the baby food printed in pink. To add some humor, I added the menu descriptions from Hugo, a delicious high-end restaurant nearby, on every other line. While the "SHRIMP N' GRITS: GRITS, WHITE CHEDDAR, TASSO HAM, HERBS, DEMI" was delectable, it was definitely not in the baby food jar.

We also had plenty of delicious Sunday afternoon drinks.

I want to say a great, big thank you to everyone who has been checking out my blog.
I appreciate the interest and love, love, love your comments. It's great to know who is reading and what everyone is interested in. Keep checking back!
