its friday!

Happy day, to you! I'm getting everything all ready for the art show tonight. I've been making some new pieces, buying new frames, ordering BUSINESS CARDS (something I have been excited for for months!) and getting everything else ready. I'm glad the day has come! cb2 drinking glasses

I was so excited when I opened up this email blast from CB2. Don't these glasses rock? I love the shape of them, the vibrant colors and the vintage-graphic look. Wonderful! I want! Doesn't the fact that my cabinets are stocked with glasses that *may or may not* adorn the labels of old college bars justify the purchase?

Oh, and the icing on the cake is absolutely the sticker-covered apple in the top right corner of the first photograph.

VINE-L friday

I am so excited to be participating in VINE-L friday, an art walk this Friday (redundant?), but it has left my blogging-time something to be desired. I promise, my regular posting schedule will be back! My wall art will be displayed in the Coffee Emporium in downtown Cincinnati. The event is from 6-10; however my work will remain there for a couple weeks. See how happy I am? Hope to see you there!

blue inspiration

I am LOVING these blue-hue images from Canadian House & Home. There is something new to obsess over in each one! My top four (I can't go lower than that!) things about these rooms are: 1. blue bathtub 2. gray, white and blue pattern behind the kitchen hutch 3. long floating wall shelves for open kitchen storage and 4. blue room divider used as a headboard, a nod to yesterdays post.

Elements' identity

I came across Elements (graphic design + marketing firm) corporate stationery while browsing the oh joy! site. She designed the logo and patterns, they designed the stationery. I am LOVING the use of the colors and patterns on this stationery ensemble.


I am also loving how they incorporated the patterns, colors and logo into their website. Great, don't you think?

This decorative tape by tapeswell made the blog rounds a while ago. They also make wrap-around envelope labels, which is what this first one is. Packing up boxes would be much more pleasant with this tape on hand. Don't you think?

amy atlas' candy masterpieces

I have drooled over the work of Amy Atlas before, but never realized that it was her work. So wonderfully beautiful and absolutely delicious-looking. Don't you think?












The colors are amazing and the detail shots are so charming! With her work, it is all in the details! I am loving 1) the something blue chocolate bar wrappers 2) the malted milk bar hanging sign and definitely 3) the pink pattern liner on the bottom of the cake stand. Gorgeous! Happy Monday, all!
